What we require:

What we require

Private Hire

You will need to sign our terms and conditions this can be done electronically on line.

We will require your name address and date of birth. This allows us to carry out a third party search to verify your identity (this search is not recorded) and negates the need for you to forward any identity documents to us. In a small number of instances we may require further proof of identity in the form of a driving licence or passport along with a utility bill.

We would also require both a landline and mobile telephone contact number.

Company Hire

You must provide an official purchase order stating the equipment, period of hire and the address to which the equipment is to be delivered. Payment should be made by credit/debit card or bank transfer before dispatch of the equipment.

We are more than happy to offer credit terms subject to approval, please complete our account opening form here.

 

Hire Charges:

Charges are based on the current prices shown within the website.

You can hire for any period at the rate shown.

Remember HiRental guarantee these prices to be the lowest available at any given time. If you can find a better offer please advise us and we wont only match the price you have been offered we will give you an additional 15% from the hire charge so long as you advise us at the time of booking.

 

Checking Availability:

You can check the availability of any equipment by adding it to your basket, selecting your required dates of hire and clicking on the availability button.

If the equipment you require is not available then please contact us as we always offer a free upgrade should your required items not be available on the dates requested.

 

Delivery and collection:

Delivery and collection

You can have your items delivered or you can collect in person from one of our branches.

London Deliveries

All London Deliveries where possible are delivered by our own drivers. This ensures you are kept up to date with the delivery time expected.

Nationwide deliveries

Your hired equipment will be delivered within a one hour window on your chosen delivery day. If this is not convenient you will be given the option to re-book the delivery to a more suitable time or day, allowing you to do more important things than having to sit in all day waiting for a courier.

Collections from HiRental

You can also opt to collect from one of our branches, this not only gives you greater flexibility and savings on shipping costs, but the chance for a quick hands on tutorial on how to use the equipment.

Same Day Deliveries

Our drivers carry popular but limited equipment to cover emergency hire. This equipment can be delivered extremely quickly in the event that you need additional or replacement equipment urgently.

We offer a same day service nationwide however in some regions (and dependent on stock location) there may be a charge if you need something urgently or the same day. Please contact a rental advisor who will inform you on how quickly we can deliver your required item and discuss any additional costs.

 

Payment:

Payment

We accept all major credit and debit cards for the hire charge and will use the same credit or debit card to secure the deposit.

We can also accept bank transfers (this would need to be discussed with a rental advisor).

We are happy to offer credit facilities subject to approval.

With Insurance

As you will see from our website we offer reduced deposits to clients taking out insurance through HiRental. The reduced deposit is to cover the excess should the equipment become damaged.

The deposit is charged on the day of dispatch and uncharged when the equipment is received and checked back in to stock. For clients returning stock to one of our branches this is done on the day of return. If your equipment is being returned by courier, this will be done on the day we receive the equipment back.

Without Insurance

Insurance:

Insurance

You can opt to take insurance on your hire. The excess amount would be the reduced rate of deposit you can see on each item within our website.

HiRental extends its insurance to you whilst the equipment is in your care and this covers you for any accidental damage that may occur to the equipment whilst it is in your care. There are some exceptions as per all insurance policies and areas that are not covered include damage by misuse.

All claims are subject to the relevant excess amount this would be the reduced deposit as listed on all products.

Loyalty Scheme:

Loyalty Scheme

Each hire you complete from HiRental gains you loyalty points and there are many ways to benefit from this scheme. Use your points to enjoy free hires across our entire range of equipment, benefit from free studio time or simply donate your points to one of the charities that are partnered with HiRental.

 

Identity Check:

Identity Check

To protect you and us HiRental will perform an identity check on any individual that books a hire with us.

This check will be carried out by a third party to ensure that both you and HiRental are not the subject to any fraud.

Your information is not held by HiRental and no record of any searches are recorded.

Student Hire:

HiRental work hard to support the media industry and work alongside many Schools, Colleges and Universities. We extend these offers to verified students, with many offers and incentives to allow students to benefit from these reduced rates and flexible terms.

If you are a student then please contact us to start benefiting from the schemes that HiRental can offer you with our student camera hire scheme.

 

Camera Club Hire:

Camera Club Hire

Working with the community and supporting camera clubs up and down the country, HiRental have a unique opportunity available to camera clubs. We provide venues for club meets, open days and access to the latest equipment for trials and club meets. We also offer access to exciting venues allowing otherwise unobtainable opportunities to get up close and personal with our top of the range equipment at many events throughout the year.

Members of our "supporting camera clubs" scheme also benefit from a reduced deposit and reduced hire rate. If your club is a member then please contact the club Chairman for full information.

Damaged Equipment:

Damaged Equipment

Should the worst happen during your hire then you must contact us immediately. Should the equipment you have hired develop a fault or become damaged, this allows us to recover the equipment and arrange to have it repaired.

We will always seek to have the equipment repaired as quickly as possible and keep you informed at each stage of this process.

If we have available stock then we will arrange to send you a replacement for the remainder of the hire period.

 

Late Returns:

Late Returns

If your equipment is returned late you will be charged the daily hire rate as per our website until we receive the equipment back into stock.

We would therefore recommend that if you know the equipment will be sent back late or you require it for longer then you contact us before the equipment is due to be collected or returned to our offices to extend your hire period. This way your extended rental will be charged at our normal rates.

 

Extending your hire:

Extending your hire

You can extend your hire period so long as you advise us before the equipment is due to be collected or returned.

Subject to the equipment being available to your extended term the booking will be subjected to the discounted rates available on our website for longer term hires.

 

Account Application:

Account Application

HiRental are happy to offer credit terms to Limited companies subject to approval. You can apply for a credit account easily by contacting us and if successful your account can be up and running in minutes.
