The Cambo Artes crane is the perfect necessity if you are looking for a smooth shot at a wedding, music video shoot or a corporate presentation. Used frequently throughout the video camera industry the Cambo crane has a lot to offer. If you are looking at trying out the Cambo, or only have the odd shoot to use it for then you can now hire the camera crane or jib as it is sometimes known directly from Hirental with the associated benefits of not having to store or ship the product to and from shoots the Cambo is packed into two large Peli cases with wheels for easy shipping however you must allow for a good deal of space to ship the units ideally requiring a small van or estate car.
The crane is simple to assemble, and only takes about 5-10 minutes. In its most compact mode the camera crane comes in four main sections regardless of accessories and extensions. These are the tripod, the front beam, the back beam and the mast beam. The Cambo Artes crane offers an interlocking design, making assembly easy; there are no small screws or clamps to worry about as it utilizes male/female connection with precision security. Simply slot the 3 beams together and you have built your boom.
The tripod can be easily slotted into the manfrotto dolly, which has wheels making it simple to move around a busy shoot while still maintaining a steady shot. Once you have done this you secure the boom on to the top of the tripod making it secure with a locking nut and you’re ready to get your camera and go!
The boom on the Cambo Artes crane is 62.6 (159cm) above the height of the tripod, which is adjustable, giving you a good field of view.
